Enhancements to TESSA (February 2025)

We’ve made some changes to TESSA, as set out in Enhancements to TESSA February 2025.

  • TESSA will automatically reject the upload of any CSV Implementation Data file where the PDRS Activity Definition is WH1 and the implementation date is later than 19 December 2024. This reflects the latest PDRS Rule change.
  • A new Status column in the ACPS and Accreditations view shows whether an accreditation is active, suspended or cancelled.

Viewing certificate transactions titles

We’ve added several new “certificate holding” reports to TESSA so that you can see the status of your certificate activity. These are available on the “My Certificates” page in TESSA.

Each report presents information about certificates in your account from a different point of view. For example, one of the reports shows the history of your certificate transactions while another offers a breakdown of certificate holdings.

We’ve designed these to give you a simpler, more reliable way of seeing your certificate transactions.

Look at one of these reports in TESSA now by logging in and clicking “My Certificates” on the landing page.

Enhancements to TESSA queries - TESSA Guide (July 2024)

We have made changes for a more streamlined approach to enquiry management as set out in Enhancements to TESSA queries - TESSA Guide - July 2024. The changes/improvements include:

  • Renaming the current correspondence form to ‘Enquiry’ and made several updates to the wording and field options on the enquiry form,
  • TESSA account holders will now be able to view enquiries they have raised through the enquiry form, or via phone/email, using a new menu option available on their account home page, called My Interactions.
  • Email correspondence with IPART staff emails and the Scheme Regulator mailbox (ess.regulator@ipart.nsw.gov.au) will not appear in the My Interactions menu.

When IPART requests further information, the account holder will receive an email notification advising their enquiry has been updated. The account holder can then log in to their account, view the communication added to the enquiry by IPART and reply through TESSA, including uploading attachments if necessary

Enhancements to TESSA (May 2024)

We have improved usability in TESSA when registering your certificates.  Enhancements to TESSA (May 2024).

New functionality has been added that shows the status of your certificate batches in real time. It will make it clear when a registration is still being processed in TESSA.

This will help to avoid any confusion around the total number of certificates created in the certificate batch.

Better access to TESSA data

We have created new public lists in TESSA with detailed information about implementations under the ESS and PDRS schemes. Details include where an implementation took place (postcode) and how much energy it saves. You will be able to access these lists without a user account from the TESSA landing page.

To help you find relevant data in these lists easily we have added easy-to-use filters and option to download your results to a .xls or .csv file.
