TESSA online system for Auditors
TESSA has replaced the ESS Portal and the ESS Registry. As an Auditor you will be allocated ACP Audits by the ACPs who raise them, and you will submit documents, complete tasks, and communicate with us about audits. Managing audits in TESSA will be different to how you did this in the ESS Portal.
We have developed a series of learning modules (see below) to help you get started in TESSA. Troubleshooting support is also available in TESSA (see the TESSA page for more details).
Please ensure contact details are kept up to date to ensure you receive all relevant communications relating to audits and the Energy Security Safeguard Schemes.
Logging into TESSA
To access TESSA, you need a TESSA user account comprising a username and password. This needs to be tied to a valid and unique email address. The security feature requires one account (email address) per person accessing TESSA.
Existing auditors should use your new user account and login details (username and password) emailed to your primary user (this is your primary contact in the existing ESS Portal) on 5 September. See learning module 2 below for more details.
For new auditors, see the How to register an account page for detailed instructions and to watch a video showing how to register an account.
Your customer admin user in TESSA can set up additional user accounts for other users in your business who may need to access TESSA.
What you can expect
The new online system and its improved workflows mean a different experience when auditing ACPs, including the ability to access ACP implementation data and past recommendations directly from within TESSA. We will use the ‘task’ function within TESSA to request key document and data inputs over the course of an Audit.
Audits in mid-flight on 5 September
We have migrated relevant data into TESSA for audits that were in flight so you can proceed with your work without interruption. Contact us if you have any questions.
