Implementation data upload
To upload implementation data you need to:
- Save your implementation data in csv file format (use the ESS Example template or PDRS Example template to capture data in the right format before saving as a csv file). You can only include implementations from one Accreditation (e.g. GHGR12345A) and one base vintage (e.g. 2024) in each csv file.
- Complete the registering certificates case in TESSA where you will be asked to upload your csv data file.
The CSV Specification Guide and Examples Templates detail the implementation data you need to provide and how to format your data for uploading in TESSA. (Note the CSV specification is not intended to satisfy all ACP regulatory requirements. Acceptance of your data by TESSA is not confirmation that you have met all your obligations. It is your responsibility to ensure that you understand and comply with your obligations, including holding all necessary evidence that implementations meet requirements.)
New battery implementation data requirements apply from 3 March 2025 (see below). The table details the files you should when uploading your implementation data.
Date of implementation data upload | Files you must use |
Before 3 March 2025 |
CSV Specification Guide - February 2025 - V1.2 |
On or after 3 March 2025 |
CSV Specification Guide - February 2025 - V1.3 |
New battery implementation data requirements apply from 3 March 2025
From 3 March 2025, you need to provide make and model data for batteries and new inverters installed as part of PDRS BESS1 implementations when applying to register certificates, regardless of implementation date. Make and model data is not required for existing inverters installed before the implementation or for inverters integrated into the battery energy storage system. Make and model data will also be required to meet monthly reporting requirements.
We have updated the PDRS Example Template and CSV Specification Guide to reflect these requirements. Review these updates to understand what data you need to provide and how to format your data. Ensure you use the new PDRS Example Template when registering certificates on or after 3 March 2025.
You should also use the new PDRS Example Template when submitting your battery implementation monthly report from 3 March. See PDRS reporting requirements for more information.
