As a Scheme Participant, you are required to calculate your individual certificate target for each compliance year.

Your individual certificate target represents your share of the scheme certificate target. It is calculated by dividing your individual liable demand by the scheme liable demand to work out your portion of the scheme certificate target. This is then applied to the scheme certificate target as follows:

This formula says that individual certificate target = individual liable demand divided by scheme liable demand times scheme certificate target
