If you’re thinking about applying to be accredited for battery activities, you will need to understand the scheme and the obligations of being an ACP. Before applying to become accredited, you should:
- Watch a recording of our Understanding the PDRS information session and read the related Understanding the PDRS Q&As
- Read the About PDRS battery activities webpage for more information about battery activities
- Read our PDRS FAQs
- Read the PDRS Method Guide to understand your obligations and how to meet them
- Consider whether you want to become accredited yourself, or work with an ACP who will create certificates on your behalf
If you do want to apply for accreditation, you should:
- Read the Preparing your PDRS application webpage to understand how to apply
- Watch our online forum on applying for battery accreditation
- Prepare your systems and processes to meet the PDRS requirements
- Register an account in TESSA, and watch our instructional videos on our TESSA for ACPs webpage to learn how to navigate TESSA.
Applications for accreditation must be submitted through TESSA.
